Serendipity

Serendipity (noun) - the faculty or phenomenon of finding valuable or agreeable things not sought for; a natural gift for making useful discoveries by accident. It is the effect by which one accidentally discovers something fortunate, especially while looking for something else entirely. It is also a 2001 movie starring John Cusack and Kate Beckinsale.
Jonathan (John Cusack) and Sara (Kate Beckinsale) meet unexpectedly and have one magical evening ... then part without expectation when she decides they must let fate determine if they are meant to be together. Years later, they are both engaged to others but cannot give up the dream that -- despite time, distance, and the obstacles that conspire to keep them apart -- they will one day meet again. It is a tale about soulmates, something that I totally believe in. Every time I come across this movie on television, I cannot help but stop and watch it. I own the DVD and have watched it over and over again. Something about this movie sort of hits home I guess. My husband and I fell in love unexpectedly. Many years ago, my husband and I both had crushes on other people in the same circle of friends, and then it happened: one magical night of dinner and a movie and suddenly we were in love! It was totally unexpected and we pretty much discovered that we were meant to be together by accident. Here we are, 8 years later, married with 2 kids.....and the happiest that we could ever be!
If you haven't already seen this movie, please go out and rent "Serendipity" and treat yourself to this totally romantic escape into a world where all is well and your fondest dreams can come true.

Hell's Kitchen

Is anyone else hooked on this show? Chef Ramsay is so entertaining to watch! You hear him scream, yell, and swear at the contestants for an hour and you cannot help but watch. It's sort of like boot camp in the kitchen! What I like about the show is you kind of have a small glimpse of what happens in the kitchen of a restaurant when orders start coming in. It looks pretty chaotic. It cannot be as bad as what this show airs on tv (there is obviously some editing that makes it look worse than it really is). Tune in and see what all the commotion is about....

Hottie of the Week : Bradley Cooper

Most Successful Role: Will Tippin on Alias

Birthday: January 5,1975

This began working professionally before graduating from the Actors Studio Drama School at New School University. In fact, he missed his commencement because he was off filming Wet Hot American Summer. Various guest appearances on TV shows soon followed, such as in Sex and the City, The $treet, and Miss Match. It was his supporting role on Alias that introduced his sparkling blue eyes and meticulously tousled hair to a wider audience as the lovable Will Tippin. After leaving the drama in 2003, Cooper played Christine Lahti's much younger love interest on Jack & Bobby and finally landed his first leading role on the short-lived sitcom Kitchen Confidential. He was most recently seen in the following movies:

The Wedding Crashers opposite Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn as Sack Lodge;

Failure to Launch opposite Matthew McConaughey and Sarah Jessica Parker as Demo.
