My Top 5

A friend of mine had posted on her blog a while back a list of her Top 5. I never got around to posting my top 5 on my own blog until now. I must say, my friend and I used to make these lists constantly and I remember having a tough time cutting it down to 10!! I actually had a hard time coming up with five!

I don't really have a particular order for my Top 5. They are : Tom Cruise, Michael Vartan, Jon Bon Jovi, Jason Priestley, and Matthew McConaughey. I find them all appealing in their own way.

I starting liking Tom Cruise years ago (maybe about 1986??) when I saw Top Gun. I have loved him ever since. My other favorite Tom Cruise movies are Cocktail, A Few Good Men, Days of Thunder and Jerry Maguire. I don't particularly like this whole Scientology stuff, but whatever. I still find he's a great actor.

I spotted Michael Vartan when I started to watch the TV show Alias about 5 years ago. I don't know why I like him so much - I just do! Daisylixx always tells me that I like him because he looks like my hubby. ;-) I also loved him in the movies Never Been Kissed and Monster-in-Law.

My love affair with Jon Bon Jovi started when Slippery When Wet came out. I was in the 6th grade. We used to sing Livin' on a Prayer on the school bus on the way to school. I have seen the band 3 times in concert and plan to see them again the next time they are in town. I have all of their CDs and even have several concerts on video. I can watch Jon Bon Jovi perform all day long!!

Brandon Walsh anyone? Everyone knows that I love Jason Priestley (no need to explain- just look at one of my previous posts!!)

And finally, there is Matthew McConaughey. Loved him in A Time to Kill. and U571. Also loved him in several romantic comedies (How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, A Wedding Planner, Failure to Launch, etc). He is very cool and very sexy.

Hope you enjoyed reading about my Top 5. Give me a shout and let me know about your Top 5!!! (Of course, guys are welcome to tell me about their 5 gals...)

What is there not to like about Michael Vartan - he is the best looking man I have seen on the screen and off and he has an endearing personality - great choice. The others on your list -well they don't rate anyway near MV actually no one does.

Wouldn't it be funny if we found our old lists? Holy cow did we ever agonize over bringing it down to 10! Like you, it was harder to actually come up with 5 this time around. I guess we are finally grown up ;)
